We are relocating the transformer from the elec pole by the
quonset, to the elec pole closest to the road. Then we will go back
and remove 3 extra elec poles by the quonsets. So today, they dug a
trench between the elec pole that stays to the house and the quonset. |

Our water issue. Due to the amount of water, we had to
put a bed of gravel down before we could poor the footings. |

Excavation of the basement is finished!! Unfortunately the
basement floor was soft & wet soil, so the concrete contractor needed a
gravel base established before he could poor the footings. |

Excavation of the basement continues!! Hopefully they
will finish today, but all that buried concrete sure slows things down. |

Now for the real ground breaking!! They only need to
dig 4 feet down, but they didn't get very far. The ditch walls were
caving in, so they will be bringing in a bigger excavator tomorrow. |

Using a backhoe, we dug out a buried foundation, and continued scraping dirt
By the end of the day, there was a rough slope of about 4'. |

Using an elevated scraper, we started scraping dirt to create slope for our walkout
basement. Work was done on the south corner of the property. |
