bullet06/13, Problem: porch roof trusses did not line up with porch foundation.  Error result of previous basement dimension error.  Solution: extend the porch foundation 8" on one end - that way the porch foundation will be extended roof trusses 8" on all sides.

April 2005 Status

bullet04/27, Basement floor poured, the wind picked up during the pour, and without water, it got away from them.  So, it will either have to be ripped out and redone, or smoothed.  A week or so later, cracks formed.

bullet04/18, Hit problem, when the lumber yard came out to double check measurements before ordering the floor trusses, it was discovered that the basement wall dimensions were not right. The width and the length were both over by 9".  So, we had to have the house plans modified, and re-order new roof trusses - again. Turns out the error was in understanding the plans as they were drawn.

bullet10/11, We ran 1000ft of drainage tile!! We had Hagar Backhoe run drainage tile across our property.  That should insure we don't have any water in the basement!!

bullet9/30, We moved closer into a rental home ... now instead of 3hrs away, we are 20mins.  Geoff stayed behind for 4-6wks to repair our house to sell, and transition his job
