Project Abstract

We are in the process of building our first house, on a piece of land that used to be the town of Lodemia.  We've been told that Lodemia used to have a grain depot, a post office, and a Methodist Church.  Not much remains of the town, except for a couple of old grain storage quonset huts, and the overgrown remains of a Christmas tree farm.

We had kicked around changing the name of our little farmstead, but we've really taken to the name Lodemia.

We hope to be moved in by the by the end of summer of 2005.  (see schedule).

On the side, Geoff is working on do all the custom carpentry himself, starting from "rough" lumber to finished product.  (see progress).
